These "sketches" are rendered in a full range of
lightfast colors in pencil, watercolor, and/or pastel
on off-white, acid-free, imported 100% Rag (cotton)
paper. The renderings are “sketch-like” in that
they are done relatively quickly and show sketch
strokes. They represent an earlier stage of our
more fully rendered portraits which receive many more
layers of colors. These portraits are archival. If mounted on Rag board and framed correctly with Rag mats (i.e. conservation framing) they can last hundreds of years. |

All Color Sketches are sized and matted to fit a 16x20 Frame. This style of portraiture is much quicker than traditional, classical portraiture, and the price is significantly less. Please call for quote. |
